Engineering

We can provide all types of engineering and service related to ammonia absorption plants:

  • Design and construction of ammonia absorption plants and components .
  • Process design and optimization.
  • Process screening, improvements and renewing of existing plants.
  • Engineering to increase the refrigeration capacity or change the load distribution or other operating conditions for existing plants.

  • Plant maintenance and revision works

Remote Support

If available we can monitor the running system from our office and support the operator online. We can analyze trend graphics and alarm lists to find out the reason for misbehavior or give advice for improvements how to operate the plant.

We have always been involved in different types of research and development works. A lot of them were initialized and/or funded by national or European projects. Every system, plant or component from us is tailor-made to meet the customer’s needs. Depending on the specific requirements, there are many aspects that can be optimized for each application.

Options to configure your ARP:

  • Scope of supply: Turn key supply, delivery of main components and/or engineering (look at page ‘Absorption Refrigeration Plants‘).
  • Heat supply: Steam, hot water, exhaust gasses, other fluids
  • Cooling to the ambient: Cooling water, evaporative coolers, sea- river- ground water, dry cooling
  • Connection to customers refrigeration system: Brine cooling, direct connection to separater of consumers, connection to compression system with cascade heat-exchanger
  • Special constructions on site, e.g. covering long distances between different components of an ARP
  • Process design: One stage or several, different consumer temperatures
  • Control system: Hard and software included, only narratives and control strategy
  • Special requirements: Hot gas defrosting, zero-load operation, special requirements to the control strategy, materials, approvals or testing
