Find below some recent examples of engineering service works:

  • Evaluation for a an extension of an existing ARP operating at -56°C with a second stage to increase the COP. In order to improve the overall efficiency in a German freeze dry factory the load distribution to the different consumers was investigated in relation to the time pattern, refrigeration capacity and required temperature.
  • For an Italian plant the engineering was done to add a steam heated desorber next to directly fired one. Due to fluctuating energy prices, the customer wants to be more flexible in being able to use steam from a CHP or directly methane as heat source for the ARP.
  • For a large freeze-dry coffee plant with several ARPs in operation, it was investigated which measures must be taken to increase the refrigeration capacities to a maximum with only small additional investments.
